On Friday night, The Pocket Claremont – a Georgiou Living project and proudly designed by CCN – took out the Harold Krantz Award for Residential Architecture – Multiple Housing category in the 2017 WA Architecture Awards.
These awards showcase the rich and unique outcomes that can come from clever design – no matter what the budget, site, or location of the project.
Development Director Armando Rossi said the Georgiou Development team was proud of the project’s success as is sets a benchmark for all future projects in the area.
“As the first development in LandCorp’s Claremont on the Park, it was up to Georgiou Living to set the tone for the precinct and it was a role we took very seriously. This award recognises our efforts not only in the design but the quality of the finished product.”
On Saturday night, the project also picked up a high commendation in the Residential Construction ($25m-$100m) category at the 2017 WA Australian Institute of Building (AIB) Professional Excellence Awards in Perth.
The AIB Awards are unique as they are the only Australian awards that recognise the professional excellence of individual’s in the building and construction process, as opposed to the project or completed structure. These awards are about how it was built, not what was built.
